Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

E&F Mount Pleasant Spray Foam Insulation, mountpleasantsprayfoaminsulation.com, hello@mountpleasantsprayfoaminsulation.com

Accepting these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or hire E&F Mount Pleasant Spray Foam Insulation, an insulation contractor in Mount Pleasant, SC. By browsing the site, asking for an estimate or scheduling work with us, you agree to them.

If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book a job. You can read more about who we are on our About page, or start over from our home page.

What we do

We install, top up and remove insulation in homes and commercial buildings, including spray foam, blown-in insulation, air sealing and crawl space vapor barriers. We work in Mount Pleasant and the cities around it.

What the website says about our services is general information, not a promise about your house. Every attic, wall and crawl space is different, so the written estimate we give you for your job sets out the actual work.

Estimates and pricing

We give free quotes on site, and you're under no obligation to hire us after one. Your written estimate lists the work, the materials and the price for the job as we saw it that day.

Some conditions only show up once the work starts, such as old insulation that's wet or full of droppings, damaged framing or hidden gaps. If we find something that changes the scope or the price, we'll stop and talk it through with you before doing any extra work, and we won't charge for additional work you haven't approved.

Unless your estimate says otherwise, it's good for the period written on it. After that, prices for materials and labor may change, and we'll give you an updated estimate.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We'll agree on a start date with you and do our best to keep it. Weather, material delivery, illness or an earlier job running long can push a date back, and when that happens we'll let you know as early as we can and reschedule.

You agree to give our crew safe access to the work areas and to clear stored items from the attic, crawl space or rooms we need to reach. If we can't get in on the scheduled day, we may need to rebook the job.

Spray foam jobs come with a re-entry time, which is when it's safe for people and pets to come back inside. We'll tell you that time before the job starts, and you agree to follow it and the foam maker's instructions we pass along.

If you need to cancel or move a job, please call us at (843) 416-5007 as soon as you know. If we've already ordered special materials for your job, your estimate will say whether any of that cost is yours.

Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due, are written on your estimate or invoice. Unless they say otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.

If a payment is late, we may pause any remaining work until it's paid. You're responsible for reasonable costs we have to spend collecting an unpaid balance, to the extent South Carolina law allows.

Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover

Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about the job isn't right, call us and we'll come back and look at it.

Any written warranty that comes with your job, or that a material maker offers on its product, is described in the paperwork we give you. Apart from those, the website and our services are provided as they are, and we don't make other promises, including promises about how much your power bill will drop.

Our guarantee doesn't cover damage from roof leaks, plumbing leaks, flooding, pests, storms, other contractors' work or changes made to the insulated areas after we finish.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, E&F Mount Pleasant Spray Foam Insulation isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost income, lost use of your home or higher utility costs. Our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

We aren't responsible for problems that existed before we started, like hidden water damage, mold or faulty wiring, though we'll tell you if we see them. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that South Carolina law says can't be waived.

Resolving disputes

If you're unhappy with our work or a bill, please talk to us first, because most problems get sorted out with a phone call or a visit back to the house. Reach us through our Contact page or by phone.

If we can't settle it between us, we both agree to try mediation in good faith before going to court. Any lawsuit about our services or these terms will be filed in the courts serving Charleston County, South Carolina.

Governing law

These terms, the website and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one in effect. The terms in place when you signed your estimate still apply to that job.

If part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
